The Stolen Batmobile !!
Holy Hot Wheels ! It would seem that the worlds best crimefighter would have a viper alarm but the George Barris creation was taken for a spin more than you might think !!
Actor Joey Tata ( one of the Jokers Henchmen ) " Gorshin and I stole the Batmobile once. We has this running shot, where we would get into the Batmobile and just take off. That was the cut, but we kept going and kept laughing. Frank says, " Do you believe this? Where are we going to go with this ? I said ' Why don't we use all the lines ? You will say " Hi, park this " no one will question us because you have question marks all over your green underwear, and I am walking around with this patsy look on my face.' But we never did leave the studio"

The famous auto was stolen many times which left Batman and Robin on
a chase for their car.
In the first episode, The Riddler makes an attempt to steal the car. The Batmobile's anti theft device goes off and keeps the fiend from joy riding.
Apparently, he came up with a plan because later in the series he goes for a ride !
