Sherry Jackson

In Episodes #31- Death In Slow Motion and #32 The Riddlers False Notion, The Riddler's moll, Pauline was played by Sherry Jackson.
Sherry was certainly a beautiful woman by the time she appeared on Batman.

Her
start in show business tho started much earlier. She was one of
Hollywood's famous child stars. Sherry was born in Wendel Idaho in
1942 .By the age of
eight
she was appearing in movies such as Ma and Pa
Kettle
Go To Town (50), Where Danger Lives (50), This Woman is Dangerous
(52), Trouble Along The Way (53) as John Wayne's daughter and in 1953
landed a starring role on the Danny Thomas Show, Make Room for Daddy
at the tender age of 10. As Terry, Danny's oldest daughter she grew
up on the show later attending high school
and
was one of Americas favorite teenagers. As with most child stars,
she outgrew the role and was written out of the show. At age 15, they
sent her away to college and she never returned. That may sound like
an episode of the Twilight Zone but as a side note, she did appear on
that show also in 1959 and happened to be the stepdaughter of Montgomery
Pittman, a Hollywood director involved in The Twilight Zone among
other early TV shows.
At age 15 and out of a job, she thought her acting days were over. While still cute, She had become overweight and she came to a realization- " I knew I lacked a shape, and that if I could get one, my acting experience and whatever talent I had would get a chance to work for me" She went on a diet and started bodybuilding classes. In two short months, Sherry had dropped 20 pounds and she stated then, " The bulges got moved around and rejiggered"

A shapely and sexy new Sherry now got back on TV, appearing in shows such as Lost In Space ( with Another Room for Daddy Star, Angela Cartwright) The Wild Wild West, Star Trek, and in 1966- Batman.

In 1967 she appeared in the movie "Gunn". In this film, she had a nude scene.
This scene was cut in the US version but it appeared internationally with her "au natural" This prompted Playboy in 1967 to do a pictorial article using stills from the movie and titled the article " Make Room For Sherry".
After Batman, Sherry appeared on many TV shows and movies up until the late 70's. Her latest role was in the movie " Daughters In The Dust" in 1992.
If you happen to come across a recent photo of her, please send it my way !!
