In Episodes # 63 & 64 - The Cat's Meow and The Bat's Kow Tow, A singing duo visited the crime fighting duo. These lads were Chad and Jeremy, a popular British group. Catwoman stole their voices and Batman and Robin had to get them back so they could perform.
Chad Stewart and Jeremy Clyde formed their duo in 1963 and, as most acts do, started small, performing in coffee houses and then were offered a record deal on Ember Records. Both came from upper middle class families and were educated and more refined than most of the British acts emerging at the time. America was going crazy over the Beatles and another " British Invasion" act was sure to be popular. In 1964 the number 1 hit song in America was " I Want To Hold Your Hand " by the Beatles but Chad and Jeremy had a somewhat hit with " A Summer Song " which topped the charts at # 50. They eventually switched to an American label, Columbia Records in 1965. They guest starred on TV shows such as " The Patty Duke Show, The Dick Van Dyke Show, Hullaballoo, and The Hollywood Palace in addition to Batman. by the late 60's they decided that their earlier works were too soft and mellow, the decided to try a different route, creating more serious music. Two albums later they decided to call it quits in 1968 as their new music never was a commercial success.

Jeremy Clyde is now starring in a long-running British sitcom. He plays a solicitor (attorney). Clyde also has opened a London restaurant, which he both runs and cooks in. Chad Stuart's son, James Patrick Stuart, is an actor, best-known for his role as "Will Cortlandt" on All My Children.
