The first photo was taken of Yvonne Craig ( Batgirl ) in the presentation reel before she was filmed in the series. After wearing the Batgirl costume, Yvonne complained that the mask had two points that pressed into her face. In the second photo, the restyled mask is shown with new rounded corners !
Yvonne's costume was so tight and form fitting, she had to stand almost all the time during takes so the material did not stretch out of shape. By the third season the budget was also very tight and they only made her two costumes !

Bat Girl A Bad Renter ???
Barbara Gordon Lived in an apartment so a Bat Girl Yugo was probably out of the question. The producers decided to give her a feminine and frilly purple motorcycle. She had a fake wall that rotated at the push of a button in the back of her apartment. After she got into her costume ( no small feat ) she opened the freight elevator that housed her batgirl cycle and rode the elevator down to the ground level where a brick wall opened and allowed her to go assist the Caped Crusader and the Boy Wonder !!
The Original Batgirl Cycle was different from the one used in the
show. In the presentation reel, Batgirl rode a black, less feminine
cycle! Notice the older mask too !!
