Marcia, Queen of diamonds !!!

Marsha , Queen of Diamonds, was a woman
to be dealt with, she could shoot a love dart in you and you would become her
slave. She was one of the few that had Batman where
she wanted him, at the wedding chapel ! But it was not to be, Batman was married
to his crimefighting !!

In the series, Marcia Queen of Diamonds was played by Carolyn Jones. Best known
for her role on The Addams Family form 1964 to 1966, she had many TV and movie
credits to her name.
She was born on
April. 28, 1929, in Amarillo, Texas. a decendant of a Comache Indian tribe, She
had jobs as a disk jockey, then became involved in summer stock.

One of her first movie roles was a young girl in
The Road
To Bali ( 52 ), starring,
Bob Hope and Bong Crosby
She
went on to appear or
star in 27 major films before Batman. She was a large
star who was in the line up of Batman to attract viewers.
Some of the films she appeared in were, House of Wax (1953)
, The Seven Year Itch (1955) , Invasion of the Body Snatchers (1956), King Creole
(1958) with Elvis , How the West Was Won (1962),
and her last movie performance was

Good Luck, Miss Wyckoff (1979) . She also was
featured on TV in shows such as Quincy, Capitol, Roots, Wonder
Woman, and The Dream Merchants. She
was married to TV producer Arron Spelling and was nominated for
an Oscar.

Sadly, she developed cancer and died in 1983 at the age of 53
